  5. Why should I choose to donate to Education Giving?
    1. The mission of Education Giving is unique. While other charities and not-for-profit organizations help provide students' access to school, none provide a mission as complete as Education Giving. Education Giving goes the extra step by monitoring students' progress to ensure they graduate, and as the student approaches graduation, Education Giving helps the student evaluate various career paths.
    2. Donor choice and feedback. Curious how your donations are being used? Through Education Giving's unique system of student-type selection, donors choose how their funds are to be allocated. Once funds are allocated, Education Giving provides donors recurring feedback on the use of donated funds.
    3. Efficiency. Education Giving maximizes donor efficiency by allocating all donor funds, after expenses such as processing, administrative and transaction costs are covered.
    4. The future of our global economy and interconnected societies are dependent upon the success of our youth, and Education Giving is focused on developing our youth.

  6. Can I make a donation for a specific student?
    1. No. IRS regulations restrict the ability for donors to make tax-deductible donations for specific students. Through Education Giving's unique and efficient system, donors choose the types of students they want to support based on various criteria.

  7. How does Education Giving allocate funds?
    1. On a quarterly basis, the Giving Society (remember, the Giving Society is the parent organization that runs the EducationGiving.org web site) reviews and aligns all donor and student profiles. Funds will be disbursed to specific schools, in the name of specific students, once enrollment and financial need have been verified. Please know that funds are never disbursed directly to a student.

  8. How can I help Education Giving achieve its mission?
    1. Donors can make tax-deductable donations for specific types of schools by creating a donor-specific student profile. Donors’ ability to develop customized and personalized student profiles are what make Education Giving unique. Please share this innovative process to your friends, colleagues and associates.
    2. Donors can make tax-deductible donations for specific schools, types of schools or school geography.
    3. Donors can make general donations to support Education Giving's mission of helping students attend school, obtain a degree and launch a career.
